Head lights turn off and on on their own.

I have a 1997 dodge dakota and recently i've noticed that after driving for about 15 minutes the head lights and only the head lights go off for a few seconds and then come back on for a few seconds and then back off. SOURCE: head lights turn off and come back on on their own!!!!!

There is a short in the power wire to the headlights from the headlight switch. The internal circuit breaker in the headlight switch is overheating and shutting them down, until it cools off.

How do I set the clock on my 2003 dodge dakota

  • Turn the Dakota's ignition on. Find the "Time" button on the top part of the radio control panel.
  • Push and hold the "Time" button. After a couple of seconds, you'll notice the hour display starts to blink.
  • Turn the "Tune/Scroll" knob to adjust the hour. When the hour is correct, push the "Tune/Scroll" knob. Now you'll notice the minute display blinks.
  • Turn the "Tune/Scroll" knob to adjust the clock's minute display. Push the "Tune/Scroll" knob to save the changes to the clock.

Interior light stay on intermitant

Check for moisture under the interior carpeting.
I have see it cause this when the wiring gets wet on the connections from the door switches. Other wise you are going to have to get a meter and check all the wiring to each door and the lamp switch.
