Question about 1997 Dodge Dakota
I have a 1997 dodge dakota and recently i've noticed that after driving for about 15 minutes the head lights and only the head lights go off for a few seconds and then come back on for a few seconds and then back off. This is a very dangerouse problem when you do a lot of early morning driving. Only both head lights go off and at the same time
This is usually causes by burnt contacts on the headlight switch, very easy to change out.

There is a short in the power wire to the headlights from the headlight switch. The internal circuit breaker in the headlight switch is overheating and shutting them down, until it cools off.
