Had the same problem on my '92 and 97. on the wiper motor there is a front cover held by a center screw... remove the cover there should be a small computer circuit board... disconect and replace... the cards are known to fail and a new replacement part, not a used one. they all fail on the older models.. new one has corrected the issue with the card... hope this works;;

I have a 1988 astro van. my wiper motor made a noise like it was working and the blades stopped moving now they don't do anything. could it be the switch or is the motor more common to break. I plugg

Even with a new motor, if the wiper drive rod is off you'll have no action. Check by seeing if the wipers will move easily by hand. If the do, you've no connection to the motor. The socket has popped off the ball that drives the wipers.

More than likely the wiper transmission has come off the motor drive shaft, pull the motor and check this.

1994 chey astro.if i take the right arm off the blade works but when i put the left arm back on the blades go up but won't go back down.

Hi! There may be a problem on your wiper motor. The wiper motor may be weak thats why it doesnt have enough power to pull it down. Try replacing the wiper blades too for it may be worn and could be causing the motor to be forced too much.

Turn the wipers on,and when they stop,peck on the wiper motor and see if they will come on.If they do replace the wiper motor,If they do not,replace the wiper switch.

1994 astro van automatic transmission wont go in any gear.

If the cable from the shifter to the transmission is moving the arm on the transmission and the unit is full, chances are you transmission has failed.

Likely you don't have the blade arms adjusted properly. Also, make sure that the motor has a good ground or it will not "park" when turned off.
