It should be located on the drivers side inside the engine compartment on the firewall inline with your steering wheel.

Starter problems with my 91 chevy cavlier

There are shims that go between the starter and the block. If it grinds because it is too tight in the flywheel you need to add a shim.

take four pairs of vice grips and clamp each rubber brake line near each wheel. after doing so if you can still push the pedal down then yes it is a master cylinder.

Where is the slave cylinder on 91 gmc sierra

I had a 92 Chevy Cavalier which had the hydraulic clutch system like yours. I had intended to flush and purge the hydraulic clutch system at the same time I flushed and purged the brake system. I traced the hydraulic lines from the master cylinder into the front of the transmission where the clutch is located. This is the most likely place to look for the slave. I didn't find a way to bleed the lines with the transmission still in and the Hanes manual I had was unhelpful. The dealer told me it was a "special job" that had to be done in a shop.

My 91 chevy c1500 clutch has stopped

The slave cylinder on the transmission is leaking. It may be rebuilt or replaced. It will have to have the air bled out of it either way you go. The bleeder screw in on the side if the slave cylinder .

Clutch pedal does not disengage clutch in '91 Chevy pickup. Changed Master Cylinder, slave cylinder, and bled hydraulic line. Still not disengaging clutch.Maybe throwout bearing stuck? Or clutch fork?

If the car hasn't been driven for a while it could be corrosion on the fork but I think that is unlikely. I think you are right about the release bearing being jammed in the spring. If the truck has quite high mileage, it probably means a clutch job.

Looking for brake fluid sensor in a 1996 chevy blazer

The sensors are normally located on the bottom of the master cylinder. It will be the only thing on the cylinder with a plug in.
