Question about 2003 GMC Sierra 1500
I bought this truck new, it started to hesitate and **** while driving up hill and when slowing down. It seemed like it wasn't getting any fuel. We brought it to the shop and replaced the fuel pump it seemed to be driving fine then the next day. The same problems occured. We also had the fuel system cleaned could it be a sensor of some sort?
I had the same problem with stalling when slowing down or coming to a stop . Check engine light coming on also . fixed my problem truck now runs like it did when i drove it off the lot in 03. Go get a couple dollors can of Carb Cleaner. take duct work off of Electronic Throttle Body and spray it completely let sit couple seconds and repeat this time take an old toothbrush and after spraying scub infront and around throttle clapper and rerinse with cleaner let air dry and put duct back together . this worked wonderfully for me hope does for you

I had the same problem. yes its the sensor and instead of buying a new one. what i did is disconnect the ground wire on the battery, unplug the sensor located on the firewall on driver side. let it sit for about 10 min. reconnect every thing back to where it was and that should fix your problem.
