did you check the fuses under the hood? this is where your fuse is for this circuit

did you check the lighter fuses or aux fuses. on the 1999-2002 models that is the power source for the aldl.

My 2005 dodge ram 1500 has no fire to ignition switch. Truck will not start or crank over.

Begin troubleshooting by checking 25A FUSE 20 in the integrated power module. Also check 30A FUSE 14. If the fuses are OK, there should be 12V at terminal 4 (RED wire) of the ignition switch. Check for 12 volts at terminal 13 (YEL wire) with the ignition switch rotated to START position. If nothing happens, the starter motor relay, the starter, and/or the PCM could be defective.

Cranks but won't start no signal to Aldl what should I do?

Check your aldl fuse. There is a chance that if the fuse is blown and you are not getting power to the aldl, then you are not getting power to the ECU.

Brake lights not working on my chevy silverado 2005

Check your fuse. If fuse is good check for voltage into the brake light switch and out of the switch when the brake is pressed. You will need a 12v test light to do this.

Can Not read codes on 02 Silverado

Check the cigar fuse in the underwood fuse block. It also supplies power to the aldl. If the fuse is blown there will be no communication with the computer.

I have a service engine light on and when I plugged in the OBII reader it says that it is not plugged in. I checked the OBII on another vehicle and it works fine. I am working on a 2000 Chevy Silverado....

Check the fuses. ECM/Pcm.
Let me know. we can go from there.
PS if you have an old scanner that is a code reader ( older than 2000) That is the problem.

1500HD try to start no sound replaced started 2 weeks ago

Check small wire at starter for 12volts with 12v test light. If no power then...check fuses(blown or MISSING) and move gear shift to neutral and see if it cranks. Could be defective or incorrectly adjusted park neutral switch.
