Question about 1994 Pontiac Bonneville
FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS THE CAR HAS SOMETIMES STARTED AND SOMETIMES NOT. TONIGHT IT CUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING HOME. AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES, IT STARTED BACK UP AND I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT HOME. SOMETIMES IT WILL START RIGHT UP...OTHER TIMES IT TAKES A WHILE. IT SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO START BUT ISN'T GETTING ENOUGH FUEL OR SOMETHING. COULD IT BE A FUEL INJECTOR ISSUE???? HELP!!!!
Could be a fuel inj issue, but it could be other things too. Does the check engine light come on? Does it stay on? Reading the codes if they exist is a first step. Establishing correct fuel pressure is another first step but you need a fuel pressure gauge in order to perform this step. These tools are available at a local auto parts store. You should also invest in the correct repair manual for your car so you have the applicable troubleshooting methods available to follow.
