Question about 1991 Honda Accord
I turn the key and it goes to start then dies. if i push the gas it doesnt seem like its getting any gas. then i wait a minue and try a couple more times and it starts . the last time i tried to start it and it didnt start but a tow truck moved it a little kinda at a slant down hill and tried and it started we checked the fuel filter and it wasnt clogged i was thinking it might be the fuel pump but not sure how to check it or if thats even whats wrong
I had this same exact problem about a month ago with my 1990 Accord LX. Sounds like your ignition switch has gone bad. I installed one from a junk yard and have not had any problems since. If you can find the nearest salvage yard and go and pull one yourself. Easy to install. Has a switch at one end attached to a plug-in wiring harness. You can search on YouTube for installation video tips. Hope this helps.
