Often times the problem lies in the steering coupler in these models. It is located at the bottom of the shaft before the gearbox. The Dodge dealers sell a kit that runs around 14 dollars to rebuild the coupler. If you have to replace the whole coupler itself, it runs about 90 dollars and you still have to buy the seal and pin kit as well. It is a pretty simple job that doesnt require any special tools. Dodge never put out any TSB's that i know of on this, but it is usually the problem.

Hello;
You need to check all your mounting points in the steering. Also check your tie rod ends and the u-joints to the rack and pinion.
