Question about 1989 Ford Mustang
I have an 89 mustang and the door will not open from the outside. the power lock works. and it opens up easily from the inside. i think a previous owner put an after market handle on the outside, if that matters. i have taken the door panel off the inside of the door and used wd40 to get things loose and then greased it to keep it moving. it worked for a little while, but not very well. now it doesnt open from the outside again. do i need to replace the handle? or is there something else i should do?
I think i would spray it again instead of wd40 get some P.B. Blaster works 10x better for loosening rusty parts.id try that since it worked before. you can get P.B. Blaster at walmart or parts stores.
