for the past week, my 2000 gmc jimmy has been dying while I drive it, then it will not start sets for a few hours then starts up.. but now will not start at all. It turns over but is not firing. we have recently bought brand new parts including: plugs, wires, coil pack, rotor cap, rotor button, fuel pump is about 3 years old. We also took a crank sensor module out of a decent running chevy blazer and put it in the jimmy to see if it would start. It didn't help. My boyfriend and I are completely stumped, which is rare for him. (he grew up working on cars)... PLEASE HELP...

Changed IAC valve 94 gmc jimmy v6 4.3L. whenever the engine gets to normal running temp it shuts down an won't start until engine is cool. Could this be a bad MAP sensor? Or fuel injector solenoid?

Could be a bad coil, or ignition module right by the coil. Both will cause this. If you loose fuel pressure, it would be the pump. But pumps will usually start chugging before the engine dies. Most times it is the coil.
