the switch for your interior lights. its usually a little knob you turn. or sometimes is like a little wheel you turn to ajust the brightness of the dash lights.. should be right next to the headlight switch on the dash

How can I make a 2000 chevy s10 not start so my daughter can,t drive it

there are pressure or proximity buttons available on the market , that you can install in the starter circuit to prevent it from starting
the system works so that it could be a place on the dash, in the door , even a screw head that has to touched to activate the system
find a good speed shop or electronics retailer for auto immobilizer systems /security systems and discuss what you want
only catch is you will have to have it done without your daughter knowing it is being done

I have a 2000 Chevy s10 and the dash lights went out all the fuses are fine I think so what else could be wrong

Gauges work and no back lights. Would be a bad connection at the plug. Pull the cluster. No gauges and lights would be a bad ground. They are usually mounted at the steering column bracket. Under the dash.

2000 Chevy s10 manual changed starter still won't start the starter is spinning but the engine won't turn over.

Do you have the correct starter and is it grinding, this sounds like a bad flywheel or wrong starter or even a bad one. look at teeth of flywheel and see if they are damaged. good day

Have U checked the Vacuum diaphragm. under the battery, it see if it is working? If it is, see if the pull rod there is working, then go to the solenoid under truck on the other end of rod at vacuum.

2000 Chevy S10 Instrament cluster lights for gauges do not iluminate at night. Radio displays durring daylight, not after dark dimmer reostat dimms and brightens head light switch, cant find a fuse. Whats...

There is an illumination fuse located in the dash fuse box. It is typically a 5amp fuse. Pull the fuse out and see if it is blown. Try replacing the fuse and see if it blows again, if it does there may be an additional problem.
Good luck.

1997 chevy s10 blazerdash wont light up when key

the dash sound's like a fuse, check the fuse box under the hood and in the door jamb on the side of the dash, also check your fuel filter and fuel pump, im betting on the pump because i have a 2001 chevy blazer that has had two replaced and it has 233000km on it!

2000 chevy s10 blazer

first the flashing light means that it is trying to go into 4wd. as far as i know there is no adjustment. The shift motor may be bad, If the transfer case is shifting it could be the silinod in the front differantal.
