I get vibrations when I let off the gas at high speeds. Is this the U-joint or the automatic transmission?

I would have to say it's most likely a driveline vibration , Depends on if you have a 2 piece drive shaft.... Some S10's had a 2 piece constant velocity shaft and to repair them you need a driveline specific shop to repair the joints or replace the shaft. Here is a pic of the difference.

hello, i have a chevrolet dually, the carrier bearing, in mine was doing this, i took it apart, pulled both driveshafts apart then took carrier bearing off, the bearing inside was dry, plus they had a bblue look to them, bearings was bad, plus rubber around the bearing was dry rotted, there is know way of greasing these bearings because they are sealed, i pull bobcats, tractors, with mine if you use it for a lot of heavy pulling, they dont last a long time, chevrolets carrier bearing is all made together, bearing and rubber is made together, on mine, seems like i paid about 35.00 dollars for mine, spray some wd-40 around driveshaft where it goes into bearing, i had to take a hammer to mine to get it off front drive shaft, it was stuck pretty bad.

Well on a one piece shaft they are 90Deg so I would guess 90Deg on a two piece. If they are facing the same way it would be like turning a jump rope. All weight swings to the same side at the same time, rather than being off set.I usualy have it balanced at the same time as I replace the U-Joints.Well just my two cents.Hope it helps and good luck.

How to put 2006 chevrolet drum brake spring on

Truck? Car? 1/2 Ton? 1 Ton?

Either way... the proper tool makes it fairly easy but can be done with a little finesse with a flathead screwdriver. Place the hook of the spring on the shaft of the screwdriver and the blade on the spring mount point, stretch spring until it slides down screwdriver shaft and onto mounting point. Unless you are dealing with a 1 Ton then the proper tool will have to be obtained

Remove caliper and nut to axle should come of with a little help of a rubber hammer. Knock bolts out from the front and drive new ones in from the back. You can use a lugnut with the flat side down to help pull them in and a hammer to help. Hope this helps.
