There is no need for a special tool to remove a manual fan!! you jus need more than one wrench and loosen all the nuts. While you are loosen on nut you can use another wrench to hold the fan still so that the pump doesnt not spin on you!

Cant get brakes off my yukon denali does it need a special tool

The only special tool i've needed when doing brakes on a truck like yours is a TORX socket for the rear caliper bolts. Is this what you are trying to do? I'm sure GM makes a special tool just for that, but i've used a regular torx socket with a removable bit. Then used a closed end wrench on the bit and double wrenched it for extra leverage as that bolt is on there tight.

How do you remvoe the radiator fan from the clutch on a 97 dodge ram pick up

To seperate the fan from the fan clutch there should be four small bolts that keep them together. Not sure thats what you are looking for but if you are trying to seperate the fanclutch from the water pump then you need a special tool to hold the pully from turning with the one hand while turning the fan clutch nut with the other they rent these tools at autozone.Once youve seperated the fan clutch from the water pump then you can take the fan off the clutch by removing the four small bolts. Please rate my assistance in helping you thank you.

Leaking radiator fluid from fan pulley? 2004 GMC Yukon Denali. How can i fix this?

you need to replace your water pump. The pulley you speak of is on the water pump, and when the seal goes out, it leaks in that specific spot.

Water pump for 2002 Yukon Denali

Your water pump can last an indefinate amount of time as there are no rules on how long this may or may not last.At this juncture I would check for any play or lose feeling(or roughness) in the shaft with the belt off and inspect for any signs of weeping through the bottom "weep hole".If it feels tight and no excessive coolant trail appears from the bottom hole,I would personally "keep on truckin" as a failing pump will exhibit these an other signs of failure before it becomes a major issue....
