While i was changeing my heater plugs i bent and then it snaped off it looks like a diesel chamber thing it was near the end glow plug on the offsde of the engine, a fuel pipe is at one end and another at the other end and there is a electric plug clips into it as well. will you be able to tell me what this is if you cannot understand this decription then call me on my mobile 0773298573

it will be stamped on a flat surface of the engine , different makers use different positions, it will be below the head as its the engine block that is numbered just have to clean it off and have a good look around , usually on one of the sides , good searching, or contact Peugeot with the rest of the vehicle details
start by having the faults read so u know why the light is on but it sounds like it may have sucked in some air, if this is the case keep cranking it, if there is a fuel primer on the engine keep pumping it until u feel fuel going through it
Its a dpf not a cat.Easy way to clean out[regenerate]First bring the engine to normal temp bring up the rpm to 4000 for 2 mins,then allow to idle for 30 seconds then bring the rpm up to 3000 rpm for 3 mins and yourfilter will have regenerated [fancy word for clean itself out.
DPF = diesel particulate filter.Its important to use good quality low ash oil for your oil changes.
Injectors from the same ccm engine are most probably sounds same but to be on the safe side check not only the shape but code on the top of injector too. Because they are piezo effect injectors and set by the manufacture for a specific pressure for specific engine codes.
