You could try fuel filter or just your basic tune up.

sounds pretty normal. what speed do you try out the passing gear? anything above 35-45 mph and it will feel like neutral. Passing gear is actually only 1st gear. When you press down the pedal, it forces the transmisson to shift into low gear.

ever change the fuel filter???? a weak fuel pump can also give this effect.
they can give enuff fuel to run injectors but lack volume for sustained running at speed . try fuel filter first

When gradually increasing speed,, car runs fine,, but if you press down on accelerator car seems to lose power, then if you release pedal and then ease back,,, car increases speed. It just cant accept...

either you have a worn electric fuel pump which can't make enough pressure or a clogged fuel filter and thus dirty fuel system.first use a super cocentrated injector and fuel system cleaner from a reputable brand if unsolved you should seek pro diagnostic and repair.

could be the crankshaft sensor causing the timing to be off if it has a coilpack type distributor or if it has a gear driven distributor then it could be either the distributor itself or possibly just cap and rotor

Sounds like itr is not getting enough fuel. Try or check the fuel filter for dirt or water, and also check the fuel pump pressure to see if it meet factory specs.
