Question about 2004 Ford F150
Hi from aussie guys,
i have a 2002 ford explorer and radio wont work. when turned on the screen comes up with LOCKED 10..I''ve disconected the baterry for couple of hours to reset unit as sugested by dealer but it still comes up with LOCKED 10. I do have the 4 digit code if i can get past first problem, can anyone help me please.
Suggest you read th manual on the radio. Some radios you have to push in the on off button until the enter code window appears.
In other words push in to turn radio on and hold it in that position until the code window appears in the screen. Then enter code.
Never heard of disconnecting the battery to clear the code. All that does is tells the radio that an attemp was made to steal it, thus regenerating the lock 10 code. What it does clear is the ECM Module codes. Who was the dumbwit at the dealer that told you that? He needs to be sent back to school.
