Question about 1999 Land Rover Discovery
New altenator tests good. new battery tests good. keeps dying while driving. battery light comes on only at low rpm or idle. new terminals, checked all wiring is good.
when it dies the battery shows about 11.5 volts.
had altenator checked three times. is good.
now check engine light on.
Sounds like the belt is loose. if it has a tensioner check and or replace it, if not tighten the belt. or the alternator tests ok but is actually not working at low rpm. or the battery is shorted. electricity is tricky
