Looking at buying a 2004 f150. It has a knock under the hood on the passenger side. Person said that was selling it that the knocking was normal on 2004 & 05's. Said it was the cam plate, wanted to know if this is really a problem that Ford had or is he just trying to pull one over on something that could be a major problem. thanks

Temp switch - Under hood, center, upper engine area, front of intake manifold, driver side of distributor, mounted in engine block,
Coolant temp sensor - Under hood, center, front engine area, passenger side of distributor, mounted in intake manifold,
There is no water sensor
Theres a fuse box in the trunk left side under a plastic knock out another on the passenger side near floor below the radio behind plastic knock out..another under the hood under the battery cover. They all have a place for AUX add ons.
If it has one it's on the back of the block at the top it depends on what engine you have but most of them are a 5.4 or 4.6 or
4.2 and those have the knock sensors under the intake manifold on the
passenger side. right behind the intake
