Just bought the pontac 2006 torrent. can't find the battery or the transmisson dipstick. you got any inforfation on this.
Battery should be under the PCM behind the driver's headlight.
There should be a dipstick on that side of the engine for the trans.

there is no dipstick. the fluid must be checked from under the vehicle. fluid must be at 209* f.
or trans will be overfilled. there is a plug on the right end of the trans( 7/16" )& must be removed with engine running, if at proper temp & fluid comes out then trans is full.

Lots of the newer cars don't have a cap on the radiator. You can only add coolant through the overflow tank. It is the big plastic tank on the side and it should have markings for minimum and maximum fill lines.
