Question about 1999 Ford Crown Victoria
When you first try and start the car you must give it some gas which is not normal. after it starts you must keep your foot on the gas. if you let off the pedel it dies out. It is a 1999 ford crown victoria v8
That sounds like your Idle Air Control valve has gone out.
You can get one at any parts store, and swap it out in a few minutes.
If that doesn't fix the problem, look at your Mass Air Flow meter, that could be out too.
