having the computer scanned will be a good first step. Sometimes it is a simple fix with the code pointing you right to it. Other times it is not so simple, but knowing what the ecu thinks is wrong helps.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse coding P0102; running rough at idle and seems to be in default; won't tach past 4K...any ideas? V/6

P0102 = MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) circuit - low input. This sensor tells the engine computer how much air is entering the engine. The engine computer uses this sensor's signal to calculate the fuel map (fuel-to-air ratio). The 'Low Input" means the computer isn't getting any signal from it.... this is why it won't go past 4k.

Barometric (BARO) pressure sensor fault. Sounds like your car needs a MAP/MDP Sensor. You can usually pick one up from your local parts store.
