You will need to have it scanned by a code reader to find what is wrong. you will also need a code reader to clear it.

Evaporative Emission Vent System Performance. the emissions system on these ventures suck! good luck. It basically means the fumes aren't going where they are supposed to be going and if you live in a county or state that requires emissions testing, it will not pass until you get it fixed. other than that you probably wont see any other problems, you might smell gas but like i said those are just fumes not going to the right place.

My fix engine light is on and where do i need to go to fix it

To turn off the fix enine light the problem must be fixed. A dealer or a reputable service should be able to find and fix the problem. You can try and remove your negative battery for five minutes, then reconnecting. If the code was intermittent it will not come back. If it is a hard fault, meaning a definite bad component the light will come back on. In this case it needs to be fixed.

Do you have a small wire connected with your neg. battery post This wire is a ground that grounds your car . , May have come lose when replaced battery. Not all cars have these i really don't know for sure on yours but is sure the place i would start. May even try hooking up a wire from battery " the black cable" And hold it to the car's frame to check good luck on this sorry not be more help.

Probably a bad starter activator find it and tap on it sometimes it will kick the starter, but it means the starter will have to be replaced.

2002 chev venture engine light on after transmission fluid low

low transmission will not turn on the light, only a coincidence, you need to have the code read with a scan tool to fix the problem and turn off the light.
