P0154 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1). You have a bad O2 Sensor. I dont know how your O2 sensors are labeled, but your local auto parts store should help you with that one. Good luck to you. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Sincerely,

JC

It'll never go into closed loop with those codes.
P0134 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0154 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Check for major air leak in exhaust. Or 2 dead sensors (very unlikely)

1996 gmc sierra 5.7L what would cause engine codes p0102, p0108, p0121,p0300 at same time?

p0102 is MAF mass air flow , circuit low input. Try these to reset code by trying following.
Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires. Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor. Take the MAF out and clean it using a spray cleaner such as brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner. Be gentle with the sensor. Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information) Replace the MAF sensor.

P0108 EGR Barometric Pressure Sensor Input Signal is out of self test Range. P0300 Random Misfire Detected.

Half of the engine not firing

If half the engine isn't firing, it may need a new coil pack. Most v6 and v8 engines have a coil pack for each side of the engine. Try swapping them around to see if the other side works; then you'll know. If it's not a coil pack, it's because your car has variable cylinder management, and it has electronics issue.

I have a 96 gmc sierra. The OBD reads trouble code p0154. No activity in bank 2 sensor 1. I replaced the O2 sensor. How will the check engine light go off? do i unplug the battery for a certain amount...

You need someone with a programmer to reset it. Auto Zone used to reset at no charge but now laws have changed in some states because dealers were taking cars with check engine lights to them to have reset so they could sell cars without having to actually fix them. Hope this helps ,Good luck

My 1999 Sonoma with the 4.3 is having power/acceleration problems. I get four fault codes that will flag my check engine light on occasion they are, P0171, P0174, P0151, and P0154. I have changed the...

probably changed the wrong sensors
The units you should have replaced are the heated oxygen sensors in the exhaust manifold before the cat converters (HO2S)
oxygen sensors(O2S ) are after the cat converters codes p 0171,0174 are lean mixture codes and p 150,p0154 are HO2S sensor faults
as the Ho2s sensors read the composition of the exhaust gas and report to the ECM to adjust the fuel settings then t faulty HO2S sensors will result in a lean or rich reading resulting in the other codes

Codes

Your sensors are reading correctly so leave them alone. What you have is a fuel delivery issue. Your MAF sensor is telling your engine to lean your fuel mixture. You need to remove and clean or replace (is better) the MAF. But first replace your PVC valve and clean your ERG valve.

Trouble codes P172 and P175 keep storing in Computor for my 1996 GMC Yukon

Check/replace air filter as well as the MAF sensor. The most likely cause is a dirty/bad MAF sensor often caused by a dirty air filter. Below is a list of possible solutions:
  • Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary
  • Cleanthe MAF sensor. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling
  • Inspect fuel lines for cracks, leaks, or pinches
  • Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail
  • Check the fuel injectors, they may be dirty. Use fuel injector cleaner or get them professionally cleaned/replaced.
  • Check for an exhaust leak before the first oxygen sensor (this is unlikely to cause the problem, but it is possible)

1996 GMC Sierra 1500 P0174, P0171,P0154, AND P0122

Tim,

Yes these codes are associated with the MAF Sensor. One can trip the others as well. I would try removing the MAF Sensor and cleaning it first (brake cleaner or contact cleaner), then if that doesnt work I'd chalk up the bucks for a new sensor. Check this link for additional info on this http://www.obd-codes.com/p0174

1996 Ford Taurus Chugging MAF

Did you buy a Ford MAF sensor? There are some brands that are not reliable or accurate. Buy a Ford MAF sensor, if your mechanic has decided that the MAF is faulty. You may have a leaking fuel injector, bad coolant temp sensor, bad oxygen sensor, dirty air filter, clogged exhaust system.
