Question about 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300-Class
Mercedes 300 TE wagon power seats -- grandson was sitting in car moving seatback forward = recline = forward again and it stopped working completely. Seat can be adjusted for legroom but it can not be reclined -- it is stuck in its most forward position. Drivers seat works fine and no other problems with car.
Motor on the seat may have gone out, contacts in switch got dirty or worn, or assembly reached limit and stuck. Try sitting in it pushing back hard and adjust. If not youll need to replace switch,b take seat apart to fix or replace.
