There is a plastic cover over the hood front of radiator. the horns are under there. you should disconnect the negitive battery cable first so airbag dosen't go off.

Where is horn located on 2003 chevy caviler

Horn(s) are typically located under the hood, behind and near the headlight assembly. It is not uncommon for a horn to stop working over time. It is also not unlikely that horn button in the steering column fails. To verify that the button is working, get the car to a very quiet location. Turn off all radios, blowers, etc. to make the car interior as quiet as possible. When you press the horn button, listen for a "click" noise from under the dashboard. This is the horn relay. If that happens, you know that the button(s) in the steering wheel are ok. If you don't hear the click, then the horn button or the horn relay may be the cause of the horn not working.

Why horn wont blow on 2000 acura tl?

if you push on the horn button you usually hear a relay click. if you do the chances are good the horn is the problem. the clicking relay tells you the electrical is good from the horn pad through the relay and out to the horn. when you find the horn use a test light to see if you have power to the terminal on the horn. if you do then the horn is no good.

The horn for my 1995 Subaru Legacy AWD will not work. I checked fuse and it is good. I just hear a clicking noise when I depress horn switch. Can you advise to how I can fix?

okay, the clicking noise is the horn relay which tells me the horn pad and the relay are working so the only thing left is the horns, look to make sure the horns are connected and if they are then i would say you have bad horns, the horns are a little hard to find sometimes, they are located in the front sometimes behind front bumper or on the inside of the front fender area. good day.

I have a 2001 stratus and the horn doesn't work. When I press the horn I hear a clicking sound. The fuse is OK, what's the problem

The clicking sound you are hearing is the horn relay engaging trying to supply power to your horn. Most likely horn itself needs to be replaced. Locate horn underneath in front near grill. With test light check for ground & with someone pushing on horn switch, check for positive. If you have good ground & power when pushing on horn switch need to replace horn.

Horn not working. When depressing the horn button on the steering wheel, only "clicking" sound is heard near the front passenger side. Checked the fuse and turned out to be unbroken. What's next?...

The clicking you hear is the horn relay working.
I would locate the horn and insure the wiring is intact and the horn has a good solid ground.
Then while someone is pressing the horn button measure the voltage at the wire that attaches to the horn to ground. If you get 12v or more the horn is bad. If you don't get any voltage replace the relay

My horn isn't working when i push it i hear clicking coming from where the fuse box is located

that sound that uyou are hearing is the horn relay clicking. you will have to go directly to the source which is the horn itself. Try adding power to the horn itself, to see if it will blow. Looking at the age of the car, most likely it will be the horn.

1996 Saturn SL. Horn doesnt work. Fuse is ok. Can't find horn under hood.

it is behind bumper drivers side. I believe there is a relay in the horn, making the horn unique and origional replacement required. if it has three wires in it then it has built in relay.

Horn on my dodge neon is not working

The horn is located in the front end of the car, (drivers side). I had the same problem with mine. Locate the horn and just replace it, (10-30$) if you still can't find it or don't feel that your capable of doing it, ask a friend, a shop or buy a Haynes Repair manual and try again.
