Question about 1993 Saturn SL
Hey i need a diagram to the saturn 1993 for fuses cause loooking for the fuse of the heater?
Ok change the thermostat, fluid, it is an easy enough job to do. If you have a DOHC the thermostat housing is on the passenger side of the block in the front, you will need a 10mm wrench and socket to remove the housing. it is a little tricky, tight quarters, but it can be done. The bolts may sitck a little when removing them so do not **** on them, but apply continous pressure in the counter clockwise direction, remember this slogan, righty tighty, lefty loosey, if you are not a fastener nut. The new thermostat should cost you around 10.00, fluid 10.00. Also it is 50% coolent and 50% water, or by the premix stuff. The radiator drain is located on the drivers side lower corner of the rad, it is a thumb screw which you may need pliers to loosen, again be careful and apply pressure in the counter clockwize direction to loosen and drain the fluid. Make sure that the surface of the thermostat housing is clean and the o-ring is pisitioned correctly, you pinch it, it will leak. It should take you about 2 - hours to R&R the thermostat. Please make sure you do not over torque the bolts or your could break the bolts or crack the housing. Follow the torque for the bolts in the chiltons manual at your local Autoparts store or purchase a chiltons manual if you are not too cheap, it will come in handy. Good luck
