The cigarette lighter is controlled by the 15 amp ACC fuse. This same fuse allows the Power Outlet Relay to power up. I would think that this fuse is your issue. Hope this helps, and Thanks for selecting FixYa to solve your question.

wire connection has come loose or un done OR a wire has been cut through (if all the fuses are pulled and checked-not simply looked at in place). you will need wiring probe to check it all out.

Power outlet not working

power outlets (previously known as cigarette lighters) are DEFINITELY going to have a fuse, it's just a matter of finding it.
Here you go: there are two fuses for the cigarette lighter and the auxillary power outlet. The cigarette lighter is fuse #20 in the rear fuse box. The power outlet is fuse #12 in the rear fuse box The rear fuse box is located in the rear compartment behind the left wheel well.
If you go here, you can even see a diagram of that fuse box.

Cigarette front lighter is not working in my 2001Saab

Check ALL the fuses. pull them out an dlook. Also repace the one that is power for the dash/rradio/etc... even if it looks good.
If that doe snot fix it then pull the lighter out and test the wire going to it for power. If it has power then you might have a bad plug/ground. Replace outlet if so.

Both of my front Power/cigarette lighter outlets give no power?

I do not have a diagram for this but : Lighter outlets are a "high draw" item which will be served by a circut breaker, not a regular fuse. Circut breakers are small silver plug in items found on your fuse panel. Both units may be on different lines also because of "HI draw". I'ts also not really difficult to make a new circut for this, to add outlets where you need them, or to replace missing ones.
