To remove the front caliper, you must pop pop off the anti rattle spring, pay close attention as to how it attaches so you can reinstall it, then pop off the hex bolt covers on the rear of the caliper, then using a 7mm hex driver, loosen the two hex bolts that fasten the caliper to the caliper bracket, and pry the caliper away from the rotor from the bottom first then slide it off.

Can't remove front caliber

Holding the caliper to mounting bracket ?

Use a long 3/8 flexhead ratchet & socket,torx driver,
allen driver or whatever fastner you have

If it is something like a 12mm wrench-- use a long one
& break loose with a plastic or rubber hammer

Grease front axle u joints

I'm going to guess here & say you don't have any

My 04 Lincoln Ls has non & a cousins 05 expedition
has none that I have seen so far, unless you replace the
very common bottom ball joint failure issues ,then you get
grease fittings on Moog Parts

I would check the drive shafts though for fittings, they be
recessed & hard to see & need a grease gun adapter
