Mazda 626 5 speed 2.0 4cly won't start

I get fuel and spark but when I go to start it it will not start. I was told that it could be the MAF and that it could be an air leak. When reading the manuel I wonder if it could be the crank sensor in the distributor? any ideas? thanks

Are the plugs wet with fuel?
Check for spark. No spark? it may be the ignition module.

Plugs dry and spark present? No fuel?Spray a little starting fluid and see if it will run on that.
Then check pump fuses and for fuel pump noise.
