Question about 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier 4 Door

Mazda 626 5 speed 2.0 4cly won't start

I get fuel and spark but when I go to start it it will not start. I was told that it could be the MAF and that it could be an air leak. When reading the manuel I wonder if it could be the crank sensor in the distributor? any ideas? thanks

When you say it has fuel, have you checked fuel pressure at the rail ?
Has the fuel filter been replaced in the past couple of years ?
Have you tried spraying starting fluid into the throttle body ?

I have a 99 mazda 626 runs and starts fine but stalls when coming to idle i already changed maf sensor

check and or clean the (IAC) idle air control, this is what controls idling on most of todays cars and light trucks. if iac is removed for cleaning. clean out where it mounts to engine or fuel injection unit. good-day !

My 1994 Mazda 626 cranks but want start

If your vehicle cranks but won't start; you first need to check the vehicle's fuel and ignition systems to ensure the vehicle is getting spark and fuel. If there is no fuel or spark you will have to further diagnose that particular system. If you have neither; the ECM is probably faulty. If the vehicle was running and suddenly quit and wouldn't start back, then the timing belt could also have broken.
