Question about 2002 Kia Sportage
I've pushed the button to turn it off but that doesn't work.
I had the same problem. Change the fuel filter. My hold light was blinking also. It had enough trash in it to cause it to do that. changed it and problem solved.

With the igniition off, press and hold the odometer button, turn the key to the "on" position, but do not start the car. Keep the odometer button down until the oil light begins and ends flashing. Turn the key off, and then start car to see if it worked or not.

How to Reset the Change Oil Light
After changing the engine oil, the system must be reset.
With the ignition key to ON, push the RESET button
located in the driver's side instrument panel fuse block. The
CHANGE OIL light will start to flash, press and hold the
RESET button again. The reset is complete when you hear
the chimes sound and the CHANGE OIL light goes out.
