Question about 2000 Audi A4
Was driving my car down highway the car started to hesitate, oil light came on flashed for a minute so I pulled off the highway and once I slowed down the car started to tick. I have bought a oil pump sensor and a new sleave for dip stick as old one broken.
You may not have to live with the ticking..if your a lil motor savy you can maybe get in there and tighten down your rocker arm assembly heads..sometimes they get a lil loose and no matter how much oil there is.

If you want to elimenate the ticking you are going to have to replace the heads. This is a very expensive route.

Im afraid you are going to be stuck wih the ticking,,,i had a ford taurus that did the same thing and it never did stop even after we changed out the oil pump
