Heater core I need to know how to replace a heater core in 91 mazda navajo. I just need some basics as I know allitle about it. Iv'e herd It's a pain? Thank you. Richard Henry.

most cars have proper oil replacement either written on oil fill cap or on the dipstick.if thhat fails a cll to parts store will be able to tell you the proper oil.suspect 5w30 would be recomended but dont know forsure

91 mazda navajo standard v6 4.0 4x4 Started it up in first, the clutch all of a sudden went completely soft (usually a harder clutch), these fluid in the resivour... I just had the clutch replaced a month...

We would certainly hope that the people who replaced the clutch would have replaced the components, but such is not universally true.
You have a "slave cylinder" near the clutch mounted on the transmission, and it could have failed.
So could have the "master cylinder", for that matter.

Getting heater to work. Fan runs and it cools well. Has Climate control

15 years old, maybe your heater core is bad, no heat transfer from the coolant to the core, hence none from the core to your interior. Have it checked, usually a pain to replace as the dash has to come out to get at it.

If you mean the part the hoses go on to, it is called a heater core and most parts stores have them in stock

Normally around the back of the transmission, look for a vacuum hose running to it.

The only thing to do is get a diagram from the MAZDA dealer parts dept. "A few parts fell out" is way to vague to help you.

if you smell antifreeze ,and belive me youll know its antifreeze ,inside the car or the windshield will fog up when defrost is on ,you have bad heater core
