Question about 1995 Ford Taurus
Limited info - but sounds like it could be the fuel pump. Bogging when you driving along id a classic sighn of a failing fuel pump. Tha fact that its dead would also point to it being dead.
The easiest way to see if its dead is to go back to the car - and click the ingnition over - dont start the car - just flick it on so that it powers up. You should hear the fuel pump kick in the get up to pressure ( takes about 2 sec) If you dont here anything under the car - mistery solved. Then its just a case of checking fueses atc.
Exactly the same symptoms also come with a clogged fuel filter. check and replace this as well but only if you hear the fuel pump kicking in.
