Its actually pretty straight forward. Disconnect the headlight. Then their are two bolt on the top the the headlight. Remove those then remove the wheel of the car. Then their are three more bolts bellow the headlight All three facing from the outside of the fender to the center of the car.

Then once you have those 5 bolts out. Pull the headlight forward and up. Their are two tabs that go into the fender.

How do you change the head light on a 97 honda odyssey?

you want to change the headlight bulb, or the whole headlight assembly? The bulb is easy. There is a round rubber boot, about 3 inches in diameter, on the backside of the headlight assembly under the hood. Behind the rubber boot is the headlamp , secured by a wire clip that holds it secure in place. You pop that wire clip open. Its sort of triangle shaped and clips on to the headlight Assembly. The clip doesn't normally come , just unclip it, and the headlamp will then pull out. Unplug it from the plug by pushing on the release tab. Take the lamp to the auto parts store and buy a replacement. Install in reverse procedure, but make sure not to touch the glass on the bulb. These bulbs get very hot and even slight oil from your finger tips can cause the glass on the bulb to burst. The one on the passenger side is harder to get to because of the battery location. The easiest way to change bulbs is usually to ask the person at the auto parts store to do it for you. Many times Auto Zone and Advance Auto stores will put them in for you.

The headlight assembly is a different story. That is the whole plastic headlight and side marker light that must come out. There are 2 ) 6mm bolts ( 10 mm head) located at the top of the headlamp , sticking in the radiator core support. That's the big piece of metal that goes from inner fender to inner fender which the radiator attaches too. Then there are 2 more bolts on the bottom of the headlamp assembly that bolt to tabs on either side. For the side marker light there are 2 screws in the backside of them against the fender, and a bolt on the bottom. You have to pull the plastic cover inside the wheel well. Might be easiest to pull the tire to get more room. There might be another bolt or screw in there, not sure as its been a while since Ive replaced them. If you replace a headlight assembly, they will cost you around $100 used at a salvage yard or e bay. The side marker lights you can get new for under $40 all over the internet. Hope this helps some

My driver's side window has fallen into the door. I have a 2000 Honda Accord. The motor on the auto window is still running.

the regulator assembly is broken. Some vehicles use a cable guide while others use the old scissor style regulator/lifts.

Replacing Headlight on a 93 Honda Accord

We had the same car -- the trick is to come in from inside the hood. There's a greyish plastic piece that sticks through the whole headlight assembly (it's the light itself), and is connected to power by slide-in electrical connector. Pull the electrical connector out (wiggle if needed, pull firmly) until the old bulb is disconnected. Twist right (counter-clockwise) 1/4 turn and the old lamp should come out easily. Reverse the procedure to install the new lamp.

Clap loudly and have a beer: you just saved $30.

How to change the whole headlight assembly on a 05 Honda CRV

You have to remove the front bumper and grill etc

There are 5 bolts holding the headlight assembly in place. 2 at the top and 3 underneath.

Remove the plastic cross piece by prising out the clips and then the grille clips too then unbolt the bolts eithr side under the wheel arch. The bumper is still fastened using cips. Pull the bumper forward to unclip.

Headlight replacement

you doo not need to remove the bumper...the rt side is a bit tighter than the left side though..on the back of the headlamp are plastic screw retainers..they turn 1/4 to 1/2 turn to unlock the headlamp bulbs.( you could remove the battery to do will certainly give you more room.) once you turn the lock grab the bulb and pull it straight back , unplug it and plug the new one in. be careful not to touch the new bulb glass with your fingers as this can get oil on the surface and create a "hot spot" which can lead to premature failure!

There are thumbscrews and some screws to get the whole assembly out once the hood and another piece are out, then you can put LED replacements (for the turn/running lights) or whatever in. (HID replacement is more complicated; see the HID Headlamp manual for that; it's a pricey factory unit, and unless you had it on full blast, it should have lasted 20 years....)
