Question about 1991 GMC Sierra
I have a '98 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4 that keeps blowing the fuse (20A) in the circuit that controls the turn signals, back up lights, and brake/shift interlock. The hazard lights still work so the flasher relay is ok.
Any thoughts as to what I should be looking for?
Have you done any trailer wiring or drilling on the body? also check the flasher unit.

It seems you have a short in either one of the lights or interlock. all are connected to the same fuse. trace the wiring from the fuse box back to the component. Using a test light test in between the wires. check for any obvious breaks in the wiring.
