The radio fuse is located in the center console fuse block. The fuse block is locacted on the passenger side of the center console near the footwell. Its under the round cover. The cover is labeled on the inside for he location of the correct fuse.

Good Luck

I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox LT and am having the same issue that you are having. Took it to the dealer and the say it is the Equalizer, which is located under the right passenger seat . First they quoted me 650.00 to replace then said they could do it for 200.00 cheaper. Oh by the way, have you ever had a sunroof leak because I have had 5 before they fixed it and this can corrode the wiring. But apparently my dealership does not think so. Hope this helps. :(

Radio does not play cd

This is yet another problem that can be traced back to faulty PCM in equinox.

I have same issue. I stopped using it and just use MP3 or satellite radio.

Cd will not eject

Unfortunately, 99.9% of the time this means you need to replace your radio/cd player unit. The mechanism that ejects it is probably broken. It happened to my 2005 Equinox and both repair places I called suggested replacement.

2005 equinox single cd player will not load cd's electronically. don't want to force it in fear will break cd. the reject button works

Find the radio fuse (not sure exactly where it is located - possibly beneath the hood) - pull it out and leave it out for about 10 seconds - this should fix it sometimes the cd player on these goes into an electronic lock up mode. If this doesn't work it is a motor problem inside the radio.

CD player error

Try and remove the radio fuse for 30 seconds to cycle power to the unit and then try to remove them. Some of these units have a software issue and a reset can clear it.
