Question about 2000 Mercury Villager
About three weeks ago, I tried to start the van and it didn't even turn over. Just a ''click''. Thought the battery was dead. 15 minutes later it turned on! Just like that. Next day same freaking thing, except this time I start to open and slam the doors to try to wake it up, don't know if it is helping, but it comes on light panel comes on first. It takes about 5-8 minutes to work. It has gotten colder out, is that the culprit. Obviously it is electrical in nature. One morning it locked the driver side door and the car wasn't even on! What the heck! Can anybody help me before I pay too much and get ripped off! I just paid the darn thing off in June!!!!!!!!!
Few things here. 1) I would take off both battery terminals and clean them and make sure they are tight going back on. 2.) If that doesnt fix the problem I would check to make sure that your battery is good. 3.) If that doesnt fix the problem then shoot me a comment and we will go from there. Thanks for Using FixYa!
