2001 Grand Caravan Radio Stopped working

Before it failed completely, the radio was intermittent, but disconnecting the battery usually reset it to working for a little while.

Also, when the radio failed permanently, the lights on the three equalizer sliders flash rapidly (you could even call it flickering.)

I had the exact problem. The stock radios are garbage. When you reconnect the battery it blows the radio.

Similar issue with my 2001 Caravan stereo w/ 4-disc player. Radio works for 10-20 minutes, then it begins to cut out every minute or 30 seconds (EQ lights flash when power cuts out). The radio will cut out more and more frequently until it's dying every second or so (EQ lights are continously blinking at this point).

Stereo has been good to us for 7 years but buying dealership replacement is too expensive. Finding aftermarket to fit radio slot and separate 4-disc changer slot hasn't been successful. What are the alternatives?

Chances are the radio has an internl issue and requires replacement. The EQ draws power and inputs from the radio. A radio exchange is an easy process if you decide to put the sme radio back into your vehicle. Contact me if you need direction.

2001 dodge grand caravan sport.Grandkids left light on and killed Battery. Jumped the van got it started notice this morning going to work my Radio and speedometer isnt working.Checked fuses but none...

Make sure to check the engine compartment fuses and the inside fusebox, if all the fuses look good then try to unhook the battery and then connect it back on and start the van and see if this helps. the radio is it asking for a code, if this radio has antitheft then you will need to install the code to make it work, look at manual and it will tell you how to do this. the code is entered using the preset staition buttons, there should be a card in the glovebox with the radio code if it has antitheft. if you find no bad fuses then you may have short out the cluster jumping it, but most of the time it just needs a fuse or reseting by removing neg battery terminal for about 2min, good day let me know the outcome.

Radio stopped working, won't turn on

There are 2 power supplies for the radio, one constant, one ignition switched. If either one is out then the radio will not work. Did anything else quit working at the same time? In all probabilities the radio is dead and you will need to replace it.

My bluetooth in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited stopped working. Is there a way that I can reset the bluetooth? The dealership has reset it once but I can not figure out how to do it. Any advice?

.. "old style way" :)) - try to disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes, the radio should reset itself. BUT make sure you have your radio code for it. Good luck

Battery replaced on 2001 grand dodge caravan now radio dont work

U will need to enter the radio anti theft code, this lock out was triggered by the loss of voltage to the radio during the battery change, this code is unique to each radio and cam in the owners information packet when the cat was sold new.
