Question about 2002 Dodge Ram Maxi

My brake lights just quit working

I have a 2002 Dodge ram van yesterday my turn sinals didnt work i found the fuse and replaced it now my brake lights don't work and the book does not say where the fuse is?

Well maybe you unhooked the brake switch look above you brake pedal you will see a switch with a wire like hook going to the pedal arm don't be surprised if that's what is I seen lots of people hit them changing fuses unintentionally!good luck hope this helps

there is a relay that goes to the turn signals.......and there is a switch that goes to the brakes......check them...

2002 Dodge Van towing a Rock Climbing Wall. No


I would think that the wires from the RCW (rock climbing wall) that control the running lights are wired to the interior dash lights of the van, and a fuse blew, killing the above mentioned lights. Check the fuse block for a bad fuse, probably labeled inst lights or inst lgt. Did you make the trip there in daylight, and trip home at night? The fuse for the dash lights couldn't handle the extra drain of the RCW running lights.

Also if you work it on and off about 50 times it cleans the contacts up and will work ok also.

No tail lights,marker lights (FRT. OR REAR), license plate light


broken wire, bud .at the rear end their should be a ground wire bad, broken or cut get back to me.

you have a bad control module. the part number for it is 56051036af if you go to the dealer its about $238.

2001 dodge ram 1500 brake lights


I would guess the brake fuse ( this does not use the same fuse as the tail lights/blinkers) or the ground for the brake light bulb.
