Question about 1998 GMC Safari
Thinking of buying a really nice condition Safari only problem is that the transmission only goes into 1st gear. Is this a known problem? Could it either be a failed transmission or electronics?
What transmission was fitted to the 4.3 engine?
The transmission is probably staying in 2nd gear (limp mode) indicating an electronic issue. Your van will have a 4L60-E transmission
