Need to replace driver side window lower outside seal

I purchased the lower outside window seal for 2002 Jeep GC. Not sure how to replace it. Do I need to take the door apart or can it be done with just having the window down? It looks like it is just a channel, but I am not sure what holds it to the door. Thanks

Thanks Mikey108. It looked like that was the way to do it just from looking at the part, I just wanted to be sure before I started prying on something.

The driver side window for my 1993 jeep grand cherokee keeps coming off the track when I roll it down. What do I need to fix it?

remove the door trim and adjust the window channel inside the door
if the felt lining moves with the window it probably need replacing
adjust the channel with the window down or it will jam as the window comes down

1998 Jeep GC...passenger side floor full of water after rain. doors are closed, windows up. carpet right under dash is not wet. does not appear to be coming from under dash, it is dry. Any ideas will...

try the power wash and see if its the door seal pull the carpet back before you go through the problem should reveal its self if teres a leak from a seal . two other possibilities could be ventilation evaporation and or heater core line or heater core leakage.

if it shakes over 50 miles per hour, it could be your front tires need balancing. and check your ball joints while you are at it. or king pins if it has that. (they are different from ball joints but serve the same purpose.)

How to remove the switch cluster from the drivers door. 2002 dodge caravan sport, the window swithc does not work any more! need to replace it(this is for the drivers side window!) thank you

I have a 98 GC,it should be similar, there are a series of screws around the door handle area that get you to the switch area.

Driver side power window got outside of sean and

seal is fine you need to take the door apart and loosen the window track and slip it back in make sure you ajust the window frame to be snug on window
chilton make a great bible for your car thet will help it's sold at chapters

We have a 94 Jeep GC Laredo, what years are compatible as far parts go. We are thinking of purchasing a Jeep for parts and want to be sure tthat it will be compatible.

The Jeep GC also called ZJ models have two series, 1993 at 1995 and 1996 at 1997.

If you have an 1994, the compatible parts are in the first group; so, when you purchase always confirm with the VIN and the year model.
