Some radiators don't have a cap. If you have a pressure cap on the reservoir, this is a good indication the radiator doesn't have one. Radiator caps are usually on the passenger side or center. It could be hidden under the plastic cover from the bumper to frame.

SOURCE: where is the radiator cap located on 2001 Saturn SW2?

Your system does not have a cap on the radiator. It is a 'sealed system' with the reservoir holding pressure. This is not so much an 'overflow' tank like some systems, but an expansion tank.

You can add the stop leak directly into the tank.

Testimonial: "AWESOME! I thought that was the deal but my significant other stated otherwise. Again...you are GREAT!"

SOURCE: where is the radiator cap located on the 2001

A 2001 Ford Focus does not have an outlet on the radiator for a cap. It has a de-gas type cooling system and what would traditionally be called a "radiator cap" has become the de-gas bottle cap. It is located on the de-gas bottle just in front of the passenger strut tower and behind the passenger headlamp assembly. Do not open this cap when the engine is hot as you may be burned by the coolant.

SOURCE: 2001 Holden Astra, engine icon appears on

Hello and welcome to Fixya!
You may just need a maintenance check, like an oil change. Try it and observe how it goes. Try to remove the positive battery connector too, let it sit for atleast 5mins. then reconnect it. This can reset the car's computer and get rid of the check engine light.
Hope this helps and thank you for using Fixya! Have a good one!

Engine light not going off Holden Astra 2001

The check engine light will remain until you have dealt with the issue that is causing the engine malfunction.

The car will need to be scanned for fault codes generated by the computer to assist in diagnosing and locating the cause of the problem.

The fuel pump relay is located under the hood near the battery.
Usually in a black plastic box. There will be some fuses and other relays in as well. It should be marked fuel pump on or under the lid.
Good luck. Replace with same relay.
