Question about 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class
1987 420 SL why do I have to wait for the buzzer to stop and light to go off before starting?
Is this car a diesel or gas powered? If it is diesel, the buzzer and light is to warn that the glow plug is still heating and the more the glow-plug heats the car will start easier on colder days. Diesels make combustion by the heat of compression of the fuel by the piston, unlike a gas engine that uses spark from the spark plug to ignite the fuel and make combustion.
Good luck and I hope that helps
