-   Mine is a 1994 New Yorker with the factory installed 3 button garage remote atop the drivers' sun visor. I've been trying to determine how to program it for a long time. Problem is...the original garage door remote has been misplaced, or stolen.
Can I use the "learn" button on the unit to search out and acknowledge the visor remote ? -   ta gord

clear the 1-3 buttons on your visor by holding them down until you do not see the blinking light next to it ,after the light shuts off you can take your remote and aim it at the mirror or visor where your 3 buttons are located ,while holding down the button of your garage door opener press the button on you visor/mirror that you want to program it take a few minutes but it can also be programed from the opener smart button ,but you have to get the button in the car to learning mode first , you also can check your owners manual and it will also have information on how to program and also your car dealer can also do it for you when you get your oil changed! i hope i was able to help you and if i was helpful please leave me a nice rating thank you Sincerely glenn mayer
I am tring to make sure i understand this correctly, press and hold the botton until they stop flashing and then hold the remote towards the buttons in the automobile
