Question about 2001 Ford Windstar
I have 2001 Ford windstar with the emmission light on. The van runs fine. The only thing I can see wrong with it is after you remove the gas cap there is usually a small metal seal on the gas tank...it flips back when you fill up and flips into postion again when the nozzle is removed....the seal is stuck in an open position....how do I remedy that?!
MINE HAS THE SAME THING,IT IS NOT GOING TO HURT ANYTHING,MAKE SURE GAS CAP IS TIGHT,U CAN UNHOOK THE BATTERY FOR LIKE 2 MINUTES HOOK BACK UP AND THE LIGHT WILL GO OFF,RESET ITSELF,OR U MIGHT HAVE A VACCUM LEAK SOMEWHERE IN THE HOSE
