I don't show a dist cap available for a 3.4 V6 - so it is probably DIS.
The plug wires would go directly to a set of coils.

grab hold of the upper radiator hose, and follow it back to the engine block. The housing the hose is attatched is where the thermostat is hiding :)

GM has a problem with clusters but the government nor GM will do a recall on the clusters. Check ur local yellow pages for a Speedometer fix company , if u cant find one hit me back and I can find one for you.. In Houston we pay $250 for the service.

SOURCE: Lost the keys to a 2001 pontiac aztec. Don't have

the dealer should be able to make you a key, all you need is the vin number,they can make a key for it, as loong as the ignition in the van is the one that came with the van, if it was replaced then they cant make one, if you didnt by van new then just have key made its mostlikely its original one, hope this helps.
