I have a 94 Mazda MX-6 2.5 DOHC I was driving on

The timing belt has broken. Fortunately though, according to my catalog, this is not an interference engine and the engine should not be damaged internally.

Don't drive while it is over heating, cast aluminum doesn't like heat and will warp. Should take it to a repair shop if your not sure what is wrong with your vehicle. Your problem sound like the water pump is shot you may have all ready caused major damage if you have drove your vehicle for a while.

I,LL BE DRIVEING DOWN THE AND IT WILL LOSE POWER

did you make sure its not the fuel pump. the mass air flow sensor would have set of the check engine light. try putting in a new map sensor never put a used map sensor in a car.

hope this helped.
please rate good.
