    Thanks autodr

it's louder going to the left around a curve. How long can I drive it like that? I have 130,000 miles on it and just had it completley redone this past spring by the dealer (new timing belt), complete tune up, etc. New front brakes too. It cost me a bundle! But they never said anything about the wheel bearings at that time.

I have the same van there was a factory recall to repair the bearings in the front tires. If taken in to a kia dealer this problem will be repaired for free.

Wheel bearings usually dont go at once, they progress. i would say to do it as soon as can so as not to risk ruining other parts like the wheel hub which is pressed into the bearing to support the wheel. approx. cost is $150 for bearing and about 1.5 hrs to complete. (all dependant on shop)

Usually if both stop working the speed sensor in the transmission has failed, but the check engine light should also be on.

I Think I have a front wheel bearing problem

Check wheel bering for play if there is no play , it doesn't mean that bearing is NOT bad its can still be dry and would be making that grinding sound you described Also check axle and see if boot is broken. That may be your problem also make sure that rotors are not gouged/scraped up and pads are good.Contact if you need more help and thanks for using FIX YA

2004 Kia Sedona trying to find the starter.

it is located on the drivers side underneath the van. you have to remove it from the underside of the car. you will need a 17 millimeter socket or wrench. Remove the ground cable before attempting to remove the starter.
