The jerking and then died part sounds like you sezzed up your engine in other words you just (crapped a wagon) - the other use out of your dead car is to turn it in to a wagon.

I have a 1999 Chevy Malibu LS. It has "idle system high" reading on PC. I was told to replace idle control valve and that was a dead end. I then replaced the throttle position sensor and the problem still...

ECM might be sending the wrong signal to the Idle control Motor. Verify the signal into the motor. A vacuum leak can cause high idle also, listen for air leaks. Just thought of this, make sure something is not keeping the throttle plate stuck open. Debri or some other obstruction.

Car dies when applying the brake

Have your Brake Booster checked for vacuum leaking to the intake manifold. It is that large round object against the firewall in front of the drivers side. When you apply brakes, vacuum is leaking somewhere out of it and will stall or kill the engine

I have a 1997 chevy malibu and I have water leaking from the hard pipe coming out of my heater core. The light has been on for days and it started overheating yesterday. Do you know what I should...

Replace heater core. You did not say if the leak was inside car or on outside firewall. Heater cores are cheap but to do it yourself it takes most of the day and you must be skinny.

After getting an oil change, two weeks later my 1998 Chevy Malibu makes a lots of noise and cuts off, what is the problem.

Have you checked the oil? Sometimes the shops don't get the drain plug in tight and the oil leaks out. Or the oil filter is not put on tight and leaks all of the oil out. I would check the oil. Walmart did it to my mothers car once. They replaced the motor, but that is what happen.
