Question about 1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue
87 chrysler 5th ave- will nt start unless I put gas or starter fluid in carb. it cranks and then dies, changed the filer and pump, disconnected the gas line to the carb., are the lines frozen? I put dry gas treatment, didn't help. How do I unfreeze them if this is the problem?
I have the same problem nothing is coming from the tank, changed fule pump, carb, filter, alternator...tried to start it see if anything came out of the lines and nothing, we even blew out the lines.

Accelerator pump in the carburetor might be worn out. See if it shots gas into the carburetor when you pump the accelerator.

You might need to check the voltage regulator that was the problem with mine and that solved it for 15$ and saved the car

You might have a calapsed fuel lint disconect it from the motor and have some one try to turn it over see if any gas comes outif this does not work you will need to replace fuel lines
